The weapon falls apart at anything > 40 meters, however, as the iron sights allow limited magnification and the lack of options for firing make it less than bad for medium to long range firing. This is not putting down the gun, however, as it will seriously kick anyone's butt in cqc. The Thompson is the king of close range battles, but the iron sights may be difficult to use for someone unfamiliar with them. The gun has automatic firing mode and single firing mode. The iron sights are pretty good for this weapon, allowing it good close range aim. The weapon does not have any option for sights and must rely on its iron sights. It is important to note that the foregrip only allows the vertical foregrip and the muzzle only allows a suppressor. The Thompson has three attachments, a magazine, foregrip and muzzle attachment. It also shares its initial magazine size with the UMP, although it can hold more ammo with an extended/extended quickdraw mag (holding 50 rounds). The Thompson’s firing rate is similar to the UMP and the magazine is the same size, it has the most damage of any SMG in the game, although it’s fire rate is the lowest out of the SMGs. 45 ACP rounds and has a starting mag size of 30, though this can be taken to 50 with the extended magazine. It gives me hope that Battlegrounds won’t turn into DayZ and H1Z1, especially when it comes to a console release. The Thompson SMG is a type of Submachine Gun in PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds. They are delivering with their support and communication. No more running around the agonizingly too tall white fence or concrete wall. Working on new vaulting / climbing animations for /iTAXjTtcdQ Plus, the game’s official Twitter has been teasing the new vaulting/climbing animations coming soon. With the way Bluehole is working now, we’re going to be disappointed if a new weapon doesn’t hit in June. Monthly patches are for new content, server performance and client improvements. Remember, weekly patches are for major bug fixes and tweaking the anti-cheat system. June will be focusing on server performance and reducing lag. The next monthly will be on May 25th and it is focused on client performance. The devs will tackle server performance and reducing lag then. We also already know a little about June’s patch. That’ll be something to keep an eye on.Īfter the wipe we will make previous stats available publicly sometime before June 15th so your progress will not be lost. The devs plan to make them publicly available before June 15. We apologize for the current standings not being accurateīut don’t worry about your stats. May 31st will be our first leaderboard wipe. I’m decent, but I probably don’t deserve to be top 2,000 in Squad. Yep, most of us probably aren’t as good as the standings show. The devs also plan to do a leaderboard wipe on May 31 because standings aren’t being displayed accurately. We’ll see exactly what Bluehole is tackling next week. Spectating squad games are nice until your buddy zooms in and all you see is the ground. Hopefully, some of the spectating bugs get ironed out too. Look for framerate improvements and graphic fixes. Besides the new VSS, Bluehole is pouring all their energy into improving client performance with this patch. Look for a dev blog post early next week covering all the details about what’s coming.
BEST GUN IN PLAYERUNKNOWNS BATTLEGROUNDS UPDATE
I can’t hate on new content.īattlegrounds’ May update should hit servers on May 25. It’s a little too soon to throw in another SMG, but a P90 would also be awesome. Maybe a bullpup style rifle like the FAMAS or TAR-21. Man, I was hoping for a new assault rifle. Now the question is, crate only or regular loot drop? The real-life version of the VSS shoots a 9x39mm cartridge with 10 or 20 round magazine attached. And it’s known for having an integrated suppressor. Well look at our second monthly update early next week on the dev blog, but for now we’re excited to reveal our next new weapon… the VSS! /YJiL6svKgm The May update is almost here, and it’s bringing a new weapon with it.
